Martin Whoolery made his trip to Colorado this year on his new VTX 1300. He left Lima on 06/02/2011 and traveled I-70 West. He had great weather and beautiful scenery. Crossing the Missouri river was his favorite part of the trip. It is a high bridge and crossing it on a motorcycle was a total rush. Martin's bike gave him a comfortabl ride and excellent gas mileage. Changing altitudes was also no problem. The trip back was a little rougher because of heavy rain and winds. Martin rode it out and continued his trip back home. He rode through lots of road construction and traffic obstacles but had a safe trip. He recommends considering back roads if you travel West to avoid the construction. He also wished everyone safe travels through the summer.
